Born in 1976 in Bolzano (I), graduation at the Conservatory of Music in Trento (I), studies at the Trossingen University of Music (D). 2001/02: Fellowship holder at the Royal Academy of Music in London (GB). 2006: Degree in musicology at the University of Salzburg (A). Currently, he teaches at several music schools and is team leader of the reed instruments group of the division of German and Ladin music schools of South Tyrol (“Bereich Deutsche und ladinische Musikschulen”).
1991: 1st prize in the national music competition “Jugend musiziert” in Leoben (A). Awarded a special prize by the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra.
1994/95: Member of the “Junge Österreichische Philharmonie“ Since 1996 concerts with the “Streicherakademie Bozen” under the direction of Georg Egger, Andràs Schiff, Helmuth Rilling and others. 1997/98: Member of the Jeunesse Musicales World Orchestra under Neville Marriner, Kurt Masur, Yuri Termincanov and others. 1999: Member of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra under Christoph Eschenbach and Mstislav Rostropovich.
From 1999 to 2006: Concerts, tours and CD-recordings with the Munich Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Christoph Poppen, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Heinz Holliger and others. Concerts with the “Bayrische Kammerphilharmonie“, the “Orchester der KlangVerwaltung München” and the “ Hofkapelle Stuttgart”. Member of the “Kapelle für Neue Musik Windkraft Tirol“. He helps out at concerts of the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento.
